Heilongjiang Heihe Hengji Cement Co., Ltd, a cement producer based in Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, northeast China is scheduled to export 100,000t cement to Russia in 2008.

The company had a cement export of 20,000t to Russia since it pioneered in the Russian market in 2006, and took a cement export of 50,000t in the next year. If there was a reduction in customs clearance time in Russia, 200,000t more cement would be carried to the country in 2008.

In order to meet growing demand for cement in the building material market, Russia cancelled cement import tariff on January 20, 2008, which gave more chances to China. Moreover, Russia’s Soci City, the Winter Olympics host in 2014, appointed the Chinese company’s cement to build Olympics stadiums.

With a production capacity of 500,000t, Heilongjiang Heihe Hengji Cement was built in 2004 and started production in July 2005. It has a product line with a daily production capacity of 1200t.
