US concrete maker El Paso sued Mexico’s cement companies Cemex and Grupo Cementos Chihuahua (GCC) last week, alleging that both firms sell their products at prices lower than costs in El Paso, Texas. The on-line edition of El Paso Times newspaper, revealed that Metro Mix, owned by the company El Paso, filed the lawsuit in the state court of the District alleging that both Cemex and GCC are trying to push it out of the market in that city. Jorge Perez, spokesperson of Cemex, confirmed the demand against the company in United States.
