Eurocement Group has set up a comprehensive information system to ensure control over the entire chain of product movement and financial flows as a result of an IT project utilizing the Parus branded software, developed in Russia.
Work began in 2003, with seven out of 15 cement factories having this system: Maltsovsky Portlandcement, Katavsky Cement, Oskolcement, Mikhailovcement, Belgorodsky Cement, Kavkazcement and Lipetstcement. In 2006, all enterprises of the group will join the system. The collection of information about the movement of products is automated from the moment of minerals extraction to the shipment of finished products. As part of the holding’s automation, a rail transportation control system is being introduced. The system will significantly speed up the paperwork involved. In the near future, plans call for automating control over maintenance, personnel and wage calculations.
