The Ghacem Cement Foundation yesterday presented to 29 beneficiaries 30,000 bags of Portland cement worth C1.3 billion for the first half of the year. Addressing the beneficiaries, the Managing Director of Ghacem Mr. Morten Gade said that Ghacem has been supporting needy institutions in the health and education sectors that are deprived with cement to help in the construction of better facilities since 2002.  He said the foundation was set up to give needy institutions that qualify, to benefit from free cement after fulfilling some requirements.
