The Indonesian government will officially kick off rehabilitation and reconstruction programs in tsunami-ravaged northwestern Aceh province on March 26, the Jakarta Post reports.  The reconstruction process will follow an official blueprint that Indonesia’s President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono will approve later this month, the report says, citing Coordinating Minister for People’s Welfare, Alwi Abdurrahman Shihab.

Analysts say reconstruction of Aceh, which was the worst hit by the December 26 earthquake and tsunami that also devastated parts of Thailand, Sri Lanka, India and the Maldives, will be a boon for listed companies, including cement maker Semen Gresik, construction firm Adhi Karya and heavy equipment manufacturer Komatsu Indonesia.
