Argentine cement maker Juan Minetti, owned by Holcim, and the second largest group after Loma Negra, posted a net profit of 28.75 mln Argentine pesos ($9.73m) for the first quarter of 2004, the company reported to the Argentine stock exchange on May 11, 2004.  The net worth of the company by end-March 2004 totalled 804.12 mln pesos ($272.12m). In June 2003, Juan Minetti signed an agreement with its local and foreign creditors for the restructuring of the debt of the company totalling 1.168 bln pesos ($395.26m).
