Danish engineering and cement group FLS Industries executive vice president Preben Tolstrup, 44, will resign as of January 1, 2004.  Tolstrup started in FLS Industries in February 2001 as president and CEO of the group's operation and maintenance unit FLS miljo A/S and joined the corporate management on September 1, 2002. Tolstrup's main task was the closing down of the activities in FLS miljo. He implemented also a number of divestments of the group's non-core activities in the divisions FLSmidth Group and FLS Building Materials.  The divestment of FLS Industries's non-core activities will be completed by the end of 2003 as planned in the strategic plan of August 2002.  The corporate management as of 1 January 2004 will include group CEO Jorgen Huno Rasmussen, group CFO Poul Erik Tofte, Frank Gad, CEO for F.L.Smidth Group and group executive vice president, and Bjarne Moltke Hansen, director of FLS Building Materials.
