The Oman Daily Observer reports that statement to the Muscat Securities Market the cement producer said it had “reached an agreement” with the ministry.
“Based on the discussions with officials of the ministry and their understanding of all actions taken by the company to improve the environmental aspects, it has been agreed to re-operate the kiln. The company has agreed to implement the project in time and will try to accelerate the implementation. The company stresses that the environmental project of Kiln One will be as per the schedule agreed with the ministry,” Oman Cement’s CEO said.
