Holcim (US)'s Trident plant, located in Three Forks, Montana, is participating in a year-long community service initiative to mark the centennial anniversary of its parent company, Holcim Ltd.

Holcim is celebrating this 100-year anniversary and its US division is participating in Together for Communities, an initiative in which Holcim employees lead local volunteer projects.

As part of the Together for Communities initiative, the Trident plant sponsored an employee-led project to renovate and beautify the Tom Bertagnolli Park in honour of Tom Bertagnolli, a former Holcim employee and Three Forks resident.

"The City of Three Forks is very appreciative of the generous donation of time and materials from Holcim," said Gene Townsend, Mayor of Three Forks. "The much needed improvements of new bleachers, sidewalks, and picnic tables will make the Tom Bertagnolli Park a much better place for all residents."

"It warmed my heart that Holcim is upgrading Tom's park," said Mary Bertagnolli, Tom's sister. "Our loss is made easier by Holcim's commitment to keeping Tom's memory alive. I am so grateful."

"This is a wonderful gift to the park and Three Forks," said Mike Bertagnolli, Tom's brother. "Thanks to the generosity of Holcim, their employees, and the city, Tom Bertagnolli Park will be an enjoyable place for years to come. Good people helping good people!"
