Russia’s leading cement producer is planning to build a new cement plant in the Blagodarnensky district of the Stavropol territory. The plant’s annual capacity will be 1.3Mta and the amount to be invested will be RUB15bn, SKRIN Newsire reports.
Eurocement has a present-day capacity of 37.5Mta and is currently on an expansion drive which will see it starting up new facilities both in its domestic market of Russia and build on capacity in Ukraine and Uzbekistan over the 2012-17 period. Overall group capacity is expected to reach 45.4Mta at the end of this timeframe.
