Holcim Liban’s emission reduction efforts, Lebanon

Holcim Liban has reduced emissions significantly over the past three years, according to company officials.

The Daily Star (Lebanon) reports that does emissions from Holcim’s Lebanon division have been cut by 82 per cent, while other dust emissions have been reduced by 22 per cent. Overall CO2 emissions per tonne of cement have been brought down by five per cent, according to the company’s latest environmental report.
