Lafarge Pakistan Cement has appointed Amr Ali Reda as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for a term of three years, the company informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
The changes at the top were made through an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders on 21 January 2013.
Mr Reda has held many senior positions in various multinational companies. Prior to joining Lafarge Pakistan, he was the regional business controller of Lafarge Middle East and Pakistan and has served as a member of the board of directors of Lafarge Pakistan since January 2007.
Mr Ali Reda replaces Maj. Gen. Rehmat Khan who has been appointed the company’s new chairman. He replaces Ahmad Said Heshmat Hassan.
