China first-quarter 2013 exports rise

China exported 2.85Mt of cement and cement clinker worth of US$160m in the first quarter of 2013, a YoY increase of 30.6 per cent and 20.8 per cent respectively, according to data released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

Full year exports last year were expected to have reached 11.5Mt last year, up 8.5 per cent on the 10.6Mt in 2011.
