Industria Venezolana de Cemento (Invecem) will increase capacity at its Cumarebo plant, in the northeast of Falcón state, according to the Minister of Basic and Intermediate Industries, Ricardo Menéndez.
The plant expansion will be carried out by means of a capacity increase in the kiln from 3000 to 4200tpd – a project which will see an investment of US$75m.
At the plant, works are ongoing to replace the clinker cooler and install a precalciner.
