Oman Cement Co has said that the necessary repairs to its mill that was shut last month due to a technical fault have been carried out “successfully in-house and by availing local facilities.”

The 150tph mill, which halted operations on 11 June due to a technical problem, was restarted on 8 July and it had been on-trial production for 48 hours, the company said in a filing to the Muscat Securities Market.

"Preventive maintenance checks will continue to be followed to ensure continuous operation of this mill. The company would like to extend its gratitude to the employees for their exemplary work and stakeholders for their patience," Jamal Shamis al Hooti, CEO of Oman Cement, said in the disclosure.
