Indocement signs contract for new line with Sinoma

PT Indocement Tunggal Prakarsa Tbk has signed a contract for the construction of a new line with PT Sinoma Engineering Indonesia.

The new line, known as P-14, will be constructed at the company's Citeureup works in Bogor. "We have signed the onshore contract for construction and services for the P-14 project," Indocement's corporate secretary, Sahat Panggabean, told Bisnis Indonesia.

Indocement is currently focussed on building two new kilns at Citeureup, which will become the company's 13th and 14th lines with capacities of 1.9Mta and 4.4Mta, respectively.

Part of the HeidelbergCement Group, Indocement currently operates 12 lines with a total capacity of 18.6Mta. Nine of these lines are located at the Citeureup works, which has a capacity of 11.9Mta.
