Saudi-based cement producer Najran Cement has resumed operations at Line No 1 following the successful completion of maintenance.
The production line was closed for scheduled maintenance on July 8. Najran Cement had said that the shutdown would cost SAR5m (US$1.3m).
In late June, the company announced it was ready for trial operations at its third production line with a capacity of 6500tpd, with an expected launch a within a week.
Najran currently operates two clinker lines of 6000tpd and 3000tpd at its plant located in Sultana, 240km northeast of Najran.
