Hetuda Cement Factory has resumed clinker production following a three week closure due to a technical issue with its kiln.
The cement plant halted production on 28 September 2013, and according to senior technical officer of the factory, Tej Bahadur Godar, told Republica News that output had restarted following the completion of necessary refractory repairs.
In the last fiscal year, production had to be halted for two months while the company improved its dust control by installing a reverse bag house.
