Akhangarancement, part of Eurocement Group, has reported a rise in clinker in cement production in the first 11 months of 2013.

Over January-November, the Russia-based producer produced 1.074Mt of clinker and 1.47Mt of cement, a YoY rise of 11.7 and 2.2 per cent, respectively.

During the reporting period, Akhangarancement’s shipments increased by 2.1 per cent YoY to 1.463Mt. The company also reported a 17.4 per cent rise in bagged cement shipments to 46,524t. SPC 400 cement proved to be its most popular product, with sales of this cement type up by 134.7 per cent over the 11 months to 228,212t.
