Sino-Zimbabwe confident on production targets

Sino-Zimbabwe Cement is confident that it will meet its targeted 700-1200tpd production capacitty following the completion of phase one of its plant upgrade.

Renovations at the works, situated 40km southwest of Gweru, are being undertaken in three phases. The US$4m upgrade will boost clinker production to about 1200tpd. Investment has been focussed on refurbishing the kiln and cement mill as well as renewing and automating ancillary equipment, Mr Sibanda told the daily newspaper.
