Renovations at the works, situated 40km southwest of Gweru, are being undertaken in three phases. The US$4m upgrade will boost clinker production to about 1200tpd. Investment has been focussed on refurbishing the kiln and cement mill as well as renewing and automating ancillary equipment, Mr Sibanda told the daily newspaper.
