Vietnam sold 37Mt of cement in the first seven months of this year, up eight per cent from a year ago and fulfilling 59.75 per cent of the whole-year target, the country's Ministry of Construction said.
Of the total, 28.5Mt was sold to the domestic market and 8.52Mt was exported, the Nhan Dan newspaper cited the ministry as saying Monday.
In July, the country’s cement and clinker sales inched down one per cent from June but rose two per cent on a YoY basis to 4.98Mt. This volume comprised 4.06Mt of domestic sales and 920,000t of exports.
