Birla HomeTech are considering setting up a cement factory in the Kurnool district of Andhra Pradesh (AP).
N Chandrababu Naidu, chief minister of AP, assured Birla HomeTech officials during a recent visit to discuss the new plant that the state government would help the company with the resources.

He added that the  southeastern Indian state is rich in minerals and that the output from the cement plant could be used by the government for infrastructure projects, the New Indian Express reported.
