Amul Cement is constructing a vertical shaft kiln in Patapar village, Junagadh, Gujarat, India. The mini plant will cost INR30m (US$484,587) and will have a capacity of 37,500tpa of cement and concrete products.
Machinery will be procured locally. The project is waiting for environmental clearance. Civil work is nearing completion and the project is scheduled for completion in 2Q15.
