MagneGas Corporation announced today that a major cement company in the US has approved MagneGas® fuel to replace acetylene and has placed its first order for a location in Florida.
The undisclosed cement company has locations throughout the Southeastern US, the Caribbean, and South America with over 300 ready-mix plants and 2000 mixers, MagneGas Corporation said in a statement. The cement producer has been been testing MagneGas® for use in plant repairs and placed its first order for a location in Florida. The company anticipates that they will roll-out to multiple additional locations in the coming weeks, MagneGas Corporation added.
Founded in 2007, Tampa-based MagneGas Corporation counts among its inventions, a patented process that converts liquid waste into hydrogen-based fuels. It currently sells MagneGas® into the metal working market as a replacement to acetylene. It is also selling equipment for the sterilisation of bio-contaminated liquid waste for various industrial and agricultural markets
