TMEIC announces an order from ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (USA) Inc to supply MV Drive Systems for McInnis Cement. The TMEIC Dura-Bilt5i MV series of medium-voltage drives have been selected for the forthcoming Canadian greenfield plant.
The new 6000tpd plant is currently under construction in the Port-Daniel-Gascons area of Quebec. ThyssenKrupp Industrial Solutions (USA), Inc has been contracted to supply a full cement line. It will be complete with a POLCID proprietary process control system to monitor and control all aspects of this new modern facility and a POLAB laboratory automation system to assure product quality in every phase of the process. The cement works is scheduled for commissioning in the latter part of 2016 with full production achieved in 2017.
