Pikalevskiy Cement to produce higher-quality cement

Mikhail Skorokhod, president of Eurocement Group, visited Pikalevskiy Cement plant where a new dry-process line is being constructed.The project is part of ongoing modernisation efforts at Eurocement's cement works.

Eurocement Group is currently actively pursuing opportunities to expand its sales area, including the supply of clinker for export. As a result, Pikalevskiy's technical engineers have improved the indicators of clinker quality in recent months.

The president has set the task to increase control over the quality of clinker. "Pikalevskiy Cement always has high trust and reputation among customers and clients. The plant staff should not only meet the customers’ expectations but also raise the bar", said Mr Skorokhod.

He also explained that the decision taken recently by the Russian government to introduce mandatory certification of cement will set the barrier to low-quality and counterfeit basic construction material, leading to higher capacity utilisation rates at the plant.
