Paraguay’s Industria Nacional del Cemento (INC) estimate it will import around 200,000 bags of cement per month to cover domestic demand this year, according to its CEO, Jorge Méndez.
"The idea is to buy at similar cost to what we produce in Paraguay and from countries of the region such as Argentina and Brazil," said Mr Mendez. He added that currently the production of cement is about 50,000 bags per day and for next week, that will increase to cover the amount that came producing normally.
