Song Lam 2 begins commercial operations, Vietnam

Hoang Phat Vissai Group said that its Song Lam 2 cement plant in the central province of Nghe An, Vietnam, has started commercial operation smoothly.

Output from the plant includes cement types PCP 30, PCP 40 and clinker PCP 50, which are sold in the central region and via the group’s distribution network.

The Song Lam 2 cement plant, formerly known as PetroVietnam Cement 12/9 JSC, is situated in Anh Son district, Nghe An province. PetroVietnam Cement 12/9 JSC had halted the construction of the cement company in 2013 due to financial difficulties. (Source: Vietnam News Brief Service)
