Carthage Cement's turnover for the first nine months ended 30 September 2016 grew 17 per cent, compared to the same period in 2015. It sold cement to the value of TND149m (US$66.2m) compared to TND125.5m (US$55.7m) in Jan-Sep 2015. Product orders increased by 16 per cent.

Export sales fell by two per cent to TND18.76m in 9M16, compared to TND19m in 9M15. However, the contraction was more pronounced in the third quarter, when sales fell 16 per cent, mainly due to a drop in demand in the Algerian market.
