In September Vietnam’s clinker and cement exports fell 0.3 per cent to 1.15Mt when compared with August but climbed 3.5 per cent to US$48.16m, according the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Vietnam exported 11.28Mt of cement and clinker in the first nine months of 2016, which represents a 6.6 per cent fall when compared with the same period the previous year. Total value of the exports was down 17.2 per cent YoY to US$429.3m.
The Philippines, Bangladesh, Taiwan and Mozambique were key importers of Vietnamese cement and clinker during the Jan-Sep period.
