Chinese company Livetouch Investments, has started production at its 400,000tpa capacity plant in Redcliff, Zimbabwe.
Construction of the plant is part of Phase One of the company’s project. Managing director and co-shareholder Dongning Wang told The Herald Business (Zimbabwe) that the plant had started operations at 70 per cent of its capacity on a trial basis.
The plant uses slag from the nearby ZISCO steel plant at Kwekwe.
