The VII International Conference ‘UkrCemFor 2017’ is underway at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Kiev, Ukraine, bringing together key players from the domestic and European cement industry to discuss market developments, technology advances and industry best practices.
Organised by Ukrcement, the association of cement producers of Ukraine, the meeting has been tailored to focus on the growth of the local cement market, as well as discuss new construction projects both at home and abroad, European regulations and guidelines, quality standards, modern raw material and finish cement quality control technology and market protection against counterfeit products.
Participants include representatives from the German Cement Federation VDZ, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), as well as producers, equipment suppliers and research institutions focussed on the cement industry.
The speaker programme includes leading figures from the business arena, economists, government officials and industry leaders. Speakers include: Volodymyr Omelyan, Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, Pavlo Kachur, chairman of Ukrcement, Miguel Machado, development director of CRH Ukraine, Volodymyr Shulmeyster, First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine (2014-16) and Volodymyr Shulmeyster, First Deputy Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine (2014-16), to name a few.
