Loesche wins large order in Egypt

Loesche has received an order for 18 vertical roller mills by Sinoma CDI which is acting as general contractor for the construction of a cement plant in Beni Suef, Egypt, being undertaken by the country’s Ministry of Defense & Military Production (MoDMP).

The MoDMP’s project involves the construction of six new production lines with a total clinker capacity of 36,000tpd by the end of 2017.

Loesche will deliver the raw mills with a capacity of 5000tph for the grinding of raw material to a fineness of 12 per cent R90µm. The six cement mills, which will have a throughput of 350tph each, will grind clinker to a finess of 3200Blaine. Six Loesche coal mills will grind coal to a fineness of 10 per cent R90µm.
