Bim Son Cement JSC has awarded Loesche the contract to supply a vertical roller mill for the grinding of clinker and granulated blast furnace slag at the Bim Son cement plant in Thanh Hóa province, Vietnam.

The scope of the order includes a VRM with a throughput of 250tph, plus a silo, blower, filter and packing plant. The new mill is expected to be commissioned in August 2017.

Bim Son Cement, a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Cement Corporation (VICEM), has recently increased capacity at the plant to 4Mta over several stages. Loeche VRMs for raw meal and coal grinding are already in operation at the factory.
