LafargeHolcim Algeria will celebrate the first export of grey cement from the port of Arzew by a west African country.
The ceremony will take place in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Commerce and LafargeHolcim Algeria's Director General, Jean-Jacques Gauthier.
The shipment is the first since lifting the ban and will see the export of 16,000t of cement from LafargeHolcim’s Oggaz cement plant to Gambia.
