Argentine cement producer Loma Negra is currently studying the use of long combination vehicles (LCVs) to reduce logistics costs while transporting more product on the country’s roads.
"We do not yet use that kind of transportation. We are analysing the [Executive Power’s] decree to take advantage of the logistic improvements it offers, but LCVs would only be possible in certain corridors, "explained Sergio Faifman, general director Loma Negra. “We are analysing its possible use for input materials as well as to transport our final products,” he added.
