Cement demand in Spain expanded by 11 per cent in the 12 months up to January 2018 when compared with the year-ago rolling year, according to the new Cement Barometer, prepared by Oficemen, the country’s cement association.
The latest figure has seen domestic consumption rise for 11 consecutive months with YoY double-digit increases noted in the past two months.
However, cement and clinker exports have continued their decline, falling 10 per cent in 2017.
