JSW Cement will provide piped and solar-powered water to 11 villages near to its planned grinding plant in Jajpur district, India.
As part of the company's US$13bn 'Enterprise and Social Commitment' programme the villages will be provided with water through a 7500m pipeline later this year.
JSW Cement is currently building a 1.2Mta grinding plant in Jajpur district and plans to raise it to 2.4Mta in the future.
