Azerbaijan sees 6% YoY fall in clinker export value

Azerbaijan’s Gazakh cement plant exported about 253,000t of clinker to Georgia in January-August 2019, according to Turan. The average export value of Azerbaijani clinker to Georgia has amounted to US$37.48/t so far this year. However, at the same time the export value of clinker decreased 5.8 per cent compared to the average for 2018.

According to the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan, a total of US$9.48m was generated from the export of clinker to Georgia during the first eight months of the year.
