Saudi sales increase 24% YoY in November

The sales of 17 cement companies in Saudi Arabia amounted to 4.27Mt in November 2019, a 23.8 per cent YoY increase compared with 3.45Mt in the year-ago period, according to a report by Yamama Cement.

Cement production rose by 22 per cent YoY to 4.3Mt during the period, against 3.54Mt in November 2018. Inventories showed modest growth to 1.22Mt from 1.18Mt. 

Southern Province Cement Co reportedly recorded the highest sales volume at 613,000t, followed by Saudi Cement Co and Yanbu Cement.
