Production has begun at the new aggregates line of China Resources Cement’s (CR Cement) subsidiary Guangxi Runhan New Materials in Guangxi Province, China. It marks the third large-scale aggregates project by CR Cement in Guangxi in the last two months following those in Shangsi and Tianyang. The 10Mta line, located in Nanning, officially commenced production on 21 December 2022 and marks an investment of CNY1.3bn (US$186m). Construction began in May 2022.
The company says that the project fully adheres to the green new development concept, adopts the fully enclosed, short- and dry-process technical route and is equipped with advanced production equipment for manufactured sand, including new-type high-efficiency energy-saving crusher, environmentally-friendly intelligent multilayer vibrating screen, high-efficiency compound sand making machine, automatic loading machine, and high-efficiency pulse jet bag filter.
The project not only provides a solid support for the transformation of CR Cement into a scientific and technological building materials enterprise and the completion of the goal of “stable growth”, but also injects a strong impetus to the acceleration of the construction of the new western land-sea corridor and the promotion of the high-quality economic development of Guangxi, according to the company.
