CEMEX supplies Miami's Okan Tower
CEMEX has supplied the concrete for the massive foundation pour for Okan Tower, a 70-storey mixed-use tower that will be one of Miami's tallest buildings. The foundation pour required 1200 concrete trucks, approximately 10,000yd3 of concrete, a crew of 300 working 36 hours straight and 160 drivers.
Designed by Behar Font & Partners, Okan tower will have a hotel, residences, office space, and a curved silhouette inspired by a tulip. It will offer panoramic views of the city and the bay, as well as amenities including a sky pool, spa, fitness centre and restaurant.
