Holcim takes the next step towards the planned spin-off of its North American Business, Amrize, with the appointment of the future company’s designated executive leadership team.
Jan Jenisch will be leading the board as chairman and CEO. He has been a member of the Holcim Board of Directors since 2021 and has served as its chairman since 2023 and as its CEO from 2017 to 2024. Before joining Holcim, Jenisch was CEO of Sika from 2012 to 2017.
He will be joined by Ian Johnston, who has been appointed as chief financial Oofficer. Mr Johnston currently serves as CFO for Holcim North America, after successfully leading the function in the US and Canada.
Jaime Hill will serve Amrize as president of building materials. He is currently appointed as regional head of Holcim North America, and previously was CEO for Holcim in Mexico and Colombia.
Jake Gosa is the new president of Building Envelope. Mr Gosa was chief commercial officer for Beacon Building Products, and brings 27 years of experience in the building industry. He succeeds Jamie Gentoso who has decided to pursue opportunities outside of the company.
Currently Holcim's chief sustainability officer, overseeing corporate affairs and branding, Nollaig Forrest has been named as chief marketing and corporate affairs officer of Amrize.
Steve Clark, has been appointed chief people officer, having previously served as chief human resources officer at Gainwell Technologies, Vista Outdoor and the H.J Heinz Company.
Denise Singleton is Amrize's chief legal officer and corporate secretary. Singleton is moving from WestRock Company, IDEX Corporation and SunCoke Energy, where she was general counsel and company secretary.
Currently Holcim's global head of mergers and acquisitions, Sam Poletti will serve as chief strategy and M&A officer.
Meanwhile, Mario Gross is the company's chief supply chain officers, following his previous roles as chief operating officer of of Holcim Building Envelope and chief procurement officer at Holcim.
Holcim’s present group head of decarbonisation, and previously director of energy transition technologies at Shell, Roald Brouwer has been appointed as chief technology officer.
