UltraTech is pleased to announce the commissioning of 3.35Mta of brownfield clinker capacity along with the first of two cement mills with a capacity of 2.7Mta at the company’s Maihar cement plant, Madhya Pradesh, India. The second grinding unit is expected to be commissioned in the 1QFY25-26.
 
UltraTech Cement has also commissioned the brownfield expansion of grinding unit at Dhule, Maharashtra with a capacity of 1.2Mta. In addition, the company has completed and commissioning of the 0.6Mta a brownfield expansion of grinding unit at Durgapur, West Bengal.
 
Finally, a new bulk terminal in Lucknow with a capacity of handling 1.8Mta of cement is now operational. This is the company’s first bulk terminal in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India.
 
The group’s total domestic grey cement capacity stands at 183.36Mta. Along with its overseas capacity of 5.4Mta, UltraTech Cement's global capacity now reaches 188.76Mta.
