Saudi Arabian cement producer Southern Province Cement Co posted a 12.6 per cent drop in sales to SAR935m (US$249.3m) in 2024 from SAR1.07bn in the previous year. 

However, the company saw net profit improve by 25.1 per cent YoY to SAR244m in 2024 from SAR195m. 

Earnings per share saw an uptick to SAR1.74 in 2024 from SAR1.40 in 2023. 

Southern Province Cement operates 14.07Mta of capacity at Makkah, Bisha and Jizan in southwestern Saudi Arabia.
