The Hanil Cement Danyang Plant is a large-scale cement production facility covering 5.22Mm2, equipped with six kilns and 10 cement grinding units. Established in 1964, the plant has continuously expanded and upgraded its production facilities, achieving a cement production capacity of 8.1Mta (with a clinker capacity of 7.1Mta).

With fully automated processes covering everything from limestone extraction to transportation, Hanil Cement prioritises safety, quality and cost competitiveness while continuously investing in eco-friendly technologies. The plant has introduced alternative fuel combustion facilities to reduce fossil fuel consumption and operates an ECO power generation system, utilising waste heat from the kilns to generate electricity.

Additionally, the company has implemented SNCR systems to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions and enclosed all transportation routes to minimise dust pollution. It also operates an energy storage system (ESS), storing electricity during off-peak hours for use during peak demand periods, enhancing energy efficiency.

Registered delegates attending Cemtech Asia 2025 will have the opportunity to visit the plant on 12 June 2025.
