Fauji Cement Ltd (FCCL) has established a 26 MWp solar plant called the Ashar Navaid Solar Park at its Nizampur cement plant with an average annual power generation of 41,600MWh. The inauguration event on 11 April 2025, was graced by Qamar Harris Manzoor, MD FCCL, along with Hassan Ashar and Ali Ashar (sons of the late Ashar Navaid, GM Works) as chief guests of the ceremony.
FCCL maintains its position as industrial leader in adoption of renewables into its business operations in line with United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG 7 Affordable and Clean Energy, SDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and SDG13: Climate Action) and its quest for Sustainable Practices.
