FCT Combustion has signed a contract to supply a new combustion system for a clinker kiln in Europe. The main target of the project is to increase the usage of alternative fuel, to decrease the CO 2 emissions of the line. FCT Combustion  has recently commissioned a complete combustion system for one of the largest clinker lines in the USA. The pyroprocessing line uses natural gas as the main fuel. The scope supplied and commissioned by FCT included: • Gyro-Therm™ burner with trolley, gas valve train, and burner management system (BMS) • four calciner burners with associated valve train • two hot gas generators for cement mills, including BMS and other accessories.

Nevyanski Tsementnik , owned by Russia-based Mikhailovsky Combine of Building Materials , produced 436,000t of cement in the first half of 2022, up 18 per cent YoY.
