Sinoma has completed a 6Mta cement plant in Nigeria for Dangote Cement Group. The US$1.6bn plant was formally unveiled on Thursday evening by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan at Ibese in southwest Nigeria's Ogun State. Dangote Cement, opened a US$1bn cement plant on Thursday, raising its production capacity by more than 40 per cent. Nigeria’s largest cement producer, Dangote Cement, says it will launch its new Ibese plant on 9 February 2012. The plant, with a cement capacity of 6Mta, is situated in Ogun State.
