Sinoma has completed a 6Mta cement plant in Nigeria for Dangote Cement Group. The US$1.6bn plant was formally unveiled on Thursday evening by Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan at Ibese in southwest Nigeria's Ogun State. Dangote Cement, opened a US$1bn cement plant on Thursday, raising its production capacity by more than 40 per cent. Dangote sets date for Ibese plant launch, Nigeria

Nigeria’s largest cement producer, Dangote Cement, says it will launch its new Ibese plant on 9 February 2012. The plant, with a cement capacity of 6Mta, is situated in Ogun State.
