The Spanish cement industry has set a target to reduce its carbon emissions by 43 per cent throughout its entire value chain by 2030 when compared with the 1990 baseline, according the sector’s “Roadmap of the Spanish cement industry to achieve climate neutrality in 2050”. GE Renewable Energy and Veolia sign turbine blade recycle agreement

GE Renewable Energy has signed a multi-year agreement with Veolia North America (VNA) to recycle blades removed from its US-based onshore wind turbines during upgrades and repowering efforts. Through this agreement, GE plans to recycle the majority of blades that are replaced during repowering efforts. Brevik plant's CCS investment approved by Norwegian parliament

The Norwegian parliament has approved the investment in a full-scale carbon capture facility at the HeidelbergCement Norcem plant in Brevik, Norway.
